Elisa Ringholm joined the  The Story of Stuff Project in 2015 as Director of Finance and Operations to ensure the organization’s health, strength, and sustainability for the long haul. An activist since her youth in various movements for social and environmental justice, she brings a wealth of experience in organizing, advocacy, development, and nonprofit management to the organization.

Previous to joining Story of Stuff she co-directed Latino Union of Chicago where she worked alongside day laborers and domestic workers to start a fair trade coffee coop, launch a domestic worker rights project, and change public policy to radically improve conditions for the poor.
